|Apr '12||The first Australian Mist Cats entered into competition was at the joint GCCF shows of Bedford & District Cat Club and Cambridge Cat Club by Jan Cross. Both her cats gained the first merits for the breed which were awarded to both cats at both shows. Congratulations to Jan, Amber and Sidney.|
|Feb '12||The GCCF approved Australian Mist cats for the Provisional Register. Now we can register them with GCCF and show them in competition for Merit awards. We need 15 cats to gain 4 Merits each, under 4 different judges (kitten wins only count for 2 Merits), then we can apply for the next stage.|
The GCCF approved the application for Preliminary Recognition for Australian Mist Cats in the UK on 6th September 2011
Delegates will meet again on 26th October 2011 to approve the application.
